Okay, now, I'm going to be telling you all about my experience at the
Panic at the Disco. And, I'm just going to start off my saying, it was the best night of my life.
So, we arrived at Rod Laver Arena at 4:00pm, that's 3 hours before it started, but we got let in at 5:30pm. When the gates opened, we got in as fast as we could! Then we had to line up in a queue, because we were in the mosh, we had to get wristbands. After getting them, we lined up at one of the door's. While waiting, we were told that there would be a half-an hour wait, so we went two at a time (there was four of us kids) to get merchandise. I got a black panic at the disco tee! (See below).

Once we got into the mosh, we had to sit/squat down, we were like a metre from where we were allowed to go. It was so uncomfortable sitting down, but then, after about 10-15 minutes, everyone started to stand up, and then, all of sudden everyone went WOOOOOOOOOOSH! And, it was so fucking crowded! There was no space whatsoever for anyone. This guy was basically rubbing my fucking ass. After about 5 minutes, the local band (The Black and White) that won the competition to perform on-stage, started playing.
Okay, now, this is hard to explain, everyone sort-of started...pushing you to the side, and you were sort of on an angle, and it was hella hard not to fall over, and it's dangerous to fall over in a moshpit. And, there was a girl behind me who was crying, and she said that she gets anxiety attacks, so, that's when we all decided, we wanted to get out of there.
So, we tried to get the security guards attention, but it took about 5 minutes to finally get attention (thanks to the tell guy next to me for the help!) And we got the 2 girls behind me out, then the rest of us got out because it was fucking dangerous :/ We had to go out and get some water, and some fucking air to breathe!
But, then we got into the mosh again, but to the side, 2 rows from the front, and it was GREAT! Cobra Starship & The Academy Is... played great! :) And then, finally, PANIC AT THE DISCO CAME ON!! I was sooooo excited, as you would be if you were watching your favourite band play live for the first time. I screamed, danced, jumped etc - I had such a great time!
This bit is very awesome to me. I threw 20 cents at Brendon Urie. And he picked it up! And he's like "Yay! I'm Rich!" & Ryan said, "Woo, Brendon just got paid!". I was like SO fucking happy! BRENDON URIE PICKED UP MY MONEY AND PUT IT IN HIS POCKET eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
he hem :| sorry. obsessive much?
yeah. i love brendon.
:)
And the night was just
amazing. I wanna go back, I miss them! But that was an awesome experience. And, I'm going to think twice before going in the middle of the moshpit, they can be dangerous. That was just ridiculous.
I hope to post some photos up soon. They should be on my myspace tommorow.
Speaking of tommorow, it's my birthday! Haha, I hopefully have a good day. Dad paid for the Panic ticket as a part of my birthday present, but I'll post on here with updates on what happened on my birthday, how it was, what I got etc etc etc.
Anyways, sorry for the pretty long update :/ Hopefully someone actully read it! Oh, and, by the way, thankyou for the people that commented my last blog :]
P.S. Does anyone wanna customize my cutenews for me? :/
